THE BEGINNING

Two Hampshire businesses have joined forces to create a new sea-based venture – Trayn4Synergy. The programme will offer small-to-medium sized businesses in the region access to the kind of management development training that is usually the preserve of larger corporations. Trayn4Synergy will be working with the Government’s Train to Gain programme to help local businesses access a grant from the Leadership and Management Advisory service. If they are eligible, the grant will enable them to save 80 per cent of the cost to enrol on the workshop and yacht-based programme.

Last year 967 small-to-medium sized businesses in Hampshire took advantage of grants from Train to Gain, which totalled more than £2.1million in the South East.
